Charlotte Ann Speer

Octoer 25,1946 - July 6, 2024 Charlotte Ann Speer, 81, of Lubbock, Tex., passed away peacefully, Saturday, July 6, 2024. Sherry, as she was known, was born October 25, 1942 in Meadow Lands, a daughter of the late William and Dorothy Sedora who are deceased. Sherry worked at J.C. Penneys in Washington until moving to Texas where she was employed at the Lubbock Airport in Lubbock, Tex. until her retirement. She graduated from Trinity High School in 1960. Sherry was a member of Calvary Temple in Washington, until moving to Texas at which time she became a member of Trinity Church in Lubbock, Later becoming a member of Southcrest Baptist Church. Her love for God and her family was who she was. Sherry enjoyed playing cards and dominoes with her friends, reading and doing word search. Surviving are her husband, Donald Speer; two sons, Donnie (Beth) Speer of Lubbock, Tex., Kevin (Chanala) Speer of Lubbock, Tex.; and daughter, Jennifer (Tim) Cato of Missouri, a sister Darlene (Roger) Mull of Houston. Also surviving are nine grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Sherry was full of love and compassion, always putting others before herself. Sherry was LOVE
