Daniel Kerik Obituary
He was born October 29, 1961, in Waynesburg, a son of Joan Florence Griffin Kerik of Clarksville and the late Steve David Kerik.
Mr. Kerik resided in the Clarksville area his entire life.
He attended Clarksville Christian Church.
Mr. Kerik was a 1980 graduate of Jefferson-Morgan High School and attended classes for the heating and air conditioning trade at Greene County Vo-Tech.
He enjoyed time with his grandchildren and was an avid fisherman. He also enjoyed boating and traveling to the mountains and camping.
Mr. Kerik was a former employee of U.S. Steel, a production and shipping coordinator for Flexicore, an auto detailer and driver for Bortz Chevrolet and a laborer for Joy Manufacturing in Houston. This summer, he labored with PennDOT.
On August 21, 2005, he married Cathy Christine Kennedy, who survives.
Surviving, in addition to his wife and mother, are three stepdaughters, Brandi and husband Randall Cogar of Carmichaels, Amanda Walls of Carmichaels and Candice Walls of Clarksville; seven grandchildren; two brothers, David and wife Susan Kerik of Clarksville and Mark and wife Denise Kerik of Allison; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received from 3 to 8 p.m. Thursday in Rush Funeral Home Inc., Rogersville, where funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, December 12, with Pastor Sandra Conti officiating. Interment will follow in Rosemont Cemetery, Center Township.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Carmichaels Senior Citizens, 100 Nemacolin Road, Carmichaels, PA 15320.

Dear Kathy, Joan and family,
We wish there were some words to express our thoughts and sympathy that would give all of you comfort- yesterday, tomorrow and into the future. We try, but the pain doesn't go away. We question why, but there isn't an answer that provides comfort to us. For us that remain, we can only pray that Danny is in a better place called Heaven. He, his soul, is now in God's hands.
