Denise Terling Obituary

Denise Terling 70, of Washington, passed away peacefully, on Wednesday, October 15, 2025, in her home, following an extended illness. She was born June 25, 1965, in Canonsburg, a daughter of the late Frank T. "Toby" and Concetta "Connie" Tatano Terling. Denise was raised in Canonsburg where she was a member of and attended elementary school at St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church St. Oscar Romero Parish. She was a graduate of Canon-McMillan High School class of 1973. Denise was a member of the Keystone Club in Washington and enjoyed playing poker machines. She had been employed with Jones Associates, the YMCA and had been a manager at the Bradford Lounge. Prior to her retirement, Denise worked in food and beverage services at Presidents Pub. Left behind to cherish her memory are her siblings: F. Thomas Terling of Canonsburg, Kathaleen Hanna of Boynton Beach, Fla. and Gary (Jamie) Terling of Washington; and niece and nephews: Hanna Attwood, Dylan Schultz-Terling and Dakota Terling. Deceased, in addition to her parents, is her brother, Gregory David Terling, who passed away May 17, 1973. Friends and family are welcome from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, October 19, at Salandra Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc., Joseph P. Salandra LFD owner / supervisor, 304 West Pike Street, Canonsburg, where departing prayers will be recited at 9:40 a.m. on Monday, October 20. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. in St. Oscar Romero Parish, St. Patrick Church, 317 West Pike Street, Canonsburg. Interment will be in St. Patrick Cemetery.
