Donald Weaver Obituary

Donald Ralph Weaver, 93, of Washington, died Tuesday, January 13, 2026, in the Donnell House Inpatient Hospice Care of Washington. He was born July 17, 1932, a son of the late Ralph D. and Helen Brister Weaver. On May 19, 1956, he married the late Beverly Humphreys. Mr. Weaver was a graduate of Trinity High School and attended Avery United Methodist Church. He was an avid golfer and a member of The Elks Lodge B.P.O.E. #776, Washington, as well as several other local clubs. In 1980, he founded the Donald R. Weaver Insurance Agency, where he worked until his retirement. He is survived by two sons, David (Linda) Weaver of Canonsburg, and D. Chris Weaver of Kississimme, Fla.; and several nieces and nephews. Deceased are two sisters, Janice (Carmen) Putorti, and Judith (Harry) Kler. All services are private and have been entrusted to Piatt and Barnhill Funeral Home, 420 Locust Avenue, Washington.
