Elaine H. Lally

1930 - 2024

Elaine H. Lally went home to dwell in the house of the Lord forever on Wednesday, January 31, 2024, at the age of 93. Born in Monnessen, on March 8, 1930, to parents, the late Michael and Susan Karas Selcan. She is preceded in death by her late husband, the beloved Thomas R. Lally; four siblings: brothers, Michael and John Selcan; sisters, Susan Kraynek and Margaret Daniels; and dear friend Henry Malesky. She was the cherished mother of Karen (Chet) Krcil; matriarch to three wonderful grandchildren: Michael (Rachel) Krcil, David (Tiffany) Krcil and Jennifer (Brent) Cottrill; and four great-grandchildren: Ayden, Evan, Jayna and Jordan; and numerous nieces and nephews. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Elaine was no stranger to a fun time; she loved to bowl, square dance and spend time on the casino slot machines, whether it be in Atlantic City or Las Vegas. She loved bingo and Yahtzee!, but most of all, she loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Family and friends will be received from 12 to 5 p.m. on Sunday, February 4th, at the George Irvin Green Funeral Home, Inc., 3511 Main Street, Munhall PA 15120, 412-461-6394. A Funeral Service is to be held at 11 a.m. the following morning, Monday, February 5th, at St. John Mark Evangelical Lutheran Church, 225 E. 10th Avenue, Homestead, with Pastor Scott Bryte officiating.
