Erin Catherine Palfreyman

Erin Catherine Palfreyman, 48, of Washington, passed away Wednesday, November 5, 2025, in the Donnell House. She was born September 18, 1977, in Washington, to Betsy Coulter Eakin and the late Peter W. Palfreyman III. Erin was a 1995 Trinity High School graduate. She worked in the food service industry her entire career with her current job as a manager at Longhorn Steakhouse. Erin was a child of God, belonging to the Jesus Church of Washington. She was an avid Steelers fan and adored her little dog, Yinzy and her three cats. She was a gentle and compassionate, caring soul who put everyone's needs before her own and will surely be missed by all who knew her. Erin is survived by her mother, Betsy Eakin; her stepfather, Glade Eakin; her brother, Jason of Grapevine, Texas; her stepsister, Denielle Steck of Mechanicsburg; stepbrother, James Eakin of Elco; her stepmother, Marsha Palfreyman; stepsister, Valerie Hassen of Beaver County; aunt, Molly Palfreyman; and her beloved uncle, Frank Shrader (her knucklehead); uncle, Ronald Coulter (Bonnie Jean); aunt Donna Coulter; aunt, Bonnie Casely (Jose Rubio); uncle, John Coulter (Becky); and numerous cousins, with a special shout out to Ken Grove (Tracie). She was predeceased by her father, Peter W. Palfreyman III; her grandparents, Alfred and Lucy Boyd Coulter, and Pete and Catherine Adams Palfreyman; her aunts, Sandra Nice and Sally Shrader; and uncles, Robert and Doug Coulter. Friends will be received from 1 to 3 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, November 9, in the Piatt and Barnhill Funeral Home, 420 Locust Avenue, Washington. A service will be held 11 a.m. Monday, November 10, with Pastor Jacob Hostetler. Interment will take place in the Mount Prospect Cemetery.
