Frank Martincic Obituary

Frank J. Martincic, Sr., 85, of Canton Township, Washington, passed peacefully Tuesday, March 11, 2025, in the Donnell House, Washington. He was born March 22, 1939, in Pittsburgh, a son of Frank H. and Catherine Guatel Martincic. On September 18, 1998, he married his best friend and soulmate, Cynthia Czarnecki, who survives. Frank was a retired union bricklayer for Local #9 of Pittsburgh. He was also a member of Bears Club in Meadowlands and a longtime member of the Owls Club in Bridgeville. He was an avid bow hunter and loved fishing. Some of his favorite hobbies were his woodworking and restoring antique vehicles. Surviving, along with his wife, are three sons and two stepsons, Frank (Linda) Martincic, James (Maryann) Martincic, Richard Martincic, Ronald Czarnecki, and Robert (Melissa) Czarnecki; and a daughter-in- law, Velvet Czarnecki. Also surviving are three brothers, Gerald (Patricia) Martincic, Jack (Jill) Martincic, and Tom (Barbara) Martincic; and his sister, Cathy (Bido) DiNardo; nine grandchildren and 11 great- grandchildren. Deceased is a brother, Dave Martincic. Friends and family will be received from 10 to 11 a.m., the time of a blessing service, Saturday, March 22, in the Warchol Funeral Home, Inc., 3060 Washington Pike, Bridgeville, (412) 221-3333.
