Gary Talpas Obituary
Gary Richard Talpas, 71 of Canonsburg, passed away peacefully in his home after a lengthy illness on Thursday, June 9, 2022.
He was the son of the late Arthur and Dorothy Talpas.
Loving husband of Pam Talpas for 46 years; cherished father of Kyra Vettorel, Jeremy (Brandy) Talpas, Joshua Talpas and Daria (Randy) Litster; adored grandfather of 16 grandchildren and one great-grandchild; dear brother of Darrell (Tammy) Talpas, Mark (Carol) Talpas, Nina (Mike) Strickland and Ksenia (Gordon) Kwasniewski; also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Gary was at his happiest when he was with his grandchildren and was proud of the fact that he gave every grandchild their first taste of chocolate. In recent years, you could find him working with his son, remodeling homes and working with his daughter, where he proudly earned his nickname "TinMan." He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Per Gary's wishes, there will be no viewing. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Gary was my closest cousin growing up. We were 5 months apart. He and I did a lot together playing ball and watching his dad and Uncle Joe play softball for the Slovak Club @ Curry Field. R.I.P. my cousin. You will be missed.
