George Cutright Obituary

George William Cutright, 92, of Washington, died Sunday, October 12, 2025. He was born December 09, 1932, in New Salem, a son of the late Boyd and Margaret Mullen Cutright. Prior to his retirement, he worked as a Manager in the Defense Contracting field. He was a member of St. Oscar Romero Parish, and attended St. Patrick Church. George is survived by his wife, Victoria Mascaro Cutright, step-son, Gregory (Rose Marie) Battista, of Mt. Airey, Maryland; brother, Harold (Jenny) Cutright; sisters, Iowa Hermann, Patricia (Wes) Large, Gail (Anthony) Mordecki; two grandchildren, Nicholas (Lauren) Battista, Lora (Brandon) Battista Cho: several nieces & nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Helen Rice, and Belinda Rice. Friends will be received Tuesday, October 21, from 10 to noon, at Sollon Funeral and Cremation Service, Ltd., 30 East College Street, Canonsburg, PA, 15317, Phillip L. Sollon, Supervisor, 724-746-1000. Departing prayers will be recited in the funeral home Tuesday at noon, followed by a Mass of Christian burial, at 12:30, in St. Patrick Church. Burial will follow in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Bridgeville, with full military honors. Please visit www.sollon.com to leave online condolences.
