Helen Blanche Petros

Helen Blanche Petros, 88, was called to eternal life on Monday, October 13, 2025 at Waynesburg Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center after a long stay. Her cremated remains will be interred next to her parents at Jefferson Cemetery. She was born in Mather, Pennsylvania on November 28, 1936 to Antoni and Mary Ompriskie Petros. Her parents and eight of her siblings have proceeded her in death. Her surviving sibling is Thomas and Marilyn Pietras of Champion, Ohio, deceased siblings were Lottie Brown, Wanda Petrick, Joseph, Walter, John, Stanley, Chester, and Edward Petros. Helen graduated from Jefferson High School and worked as telephone operator at South Penn Telephone Company and retired from there. She also worked as an aid at Jefferson High School for a few years. When able, she was an active member of Rolling Meadows Church of God and sang solos quite often. Arrangements are being handled at Behm Funeral Home, there will be no calling hours.
