James Johnn Davis, 68, of Carmichaels, died Tuesday, October 23, 2018, in Uniontown Hospital, of an apparent heart attack.
Mr. Davis was born June 28, 1950, in Brownsville, a son of the late John E. and Dorothy Mae Higbee Davis.
On August 1, 1992, James married Barbara Smith, who survives.
Also surviving are five children, Pamela Yankel (John) and Jason Davis, both of Belle Vernon, and Brett Davis, Leiha T. Davis and Amber M. Davis, all of Carmichaels; three grandchildren, Shane, Andrew and Noah Davis; and four siblings, Janice Santo of Elco, David Davis (Colleen) of Carmichaels, Karen Krilosky (Nick) of Daisytown and Barbara DeNoble (Jim) of St. Clairsville, Ohio.
He also leaves behind his dog, Brownie.
James retired from Nelson Steel Co., New Salem.
He was a social member of American Legion Post 400, Carmichaels, and Greene County Slavonic Club, Crucible.
He enjoyed fishing and time with his family. He was the proud father of two currently serving U.S. Marines.
Mr. Davis was an organ donor.
Friends will be received from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, October 29, in Paul M. Lesako Funeral Home Inc., 204 Dowlin Avenue, Carmichaels, PA 15320, 724-966-5100, with a service taking place at 6:30 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.
