James Dale Glendenning, 66, of Crucible, died Sunday, November 7, 2021, in Uniontown Hospital.
Jim was born April 29, 1955, in Aliquippa, a son of the late Arthur and Myrtle Garrison Sullenbarger.
He was a graduate of Jefferson Morgan High School and worked for B&B Painting Co. before retiring from Carmichaels Equipment Rentals.
On December 30, 1981, Jim married Barbara Yelinek Glendenning, who survives. Also surviving are three sons, John (Kasandra) Glendenning, James (Rhonda) Glendenning and Daniel Sherepita, all of Carmichaels; a daughter, Tanya (Phillip) Estes of Hedgesville, W.Va.; nine grandchildren, Jesse Sherepita, Kiley, Skyler, Nathan, Neiko and Olivia Glendenning, Briar, Gracie and Lillian Estes; one brother, John (Edith) Glendenning; two sisters, Mary Gilbert and Shirley Glendenning; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Jim enjoyed life and loved to make people laugh. Most of all, Jim enjoyed his grandchildren. They were the light of his life.
Funeral services are private and being handled by the Paul M. Lesako Funeral Home Inc., 204 Dowlin Avenue, Carmichaels. Paul M. Lesako, funeral director/supervisor.
