I remember playing with John and Joni when I was a child. We had much fun playing at their house on Donnen Avenue. My father would always visit his good friend, John Martin, their uncle who lived next door to them. I´m so sorry for your loss, Dan, John and family. Joni was a sweetheart

Dan, Matt and family,
My thoughts and prayers are with you during this time of sorrow.
In the little time I have known Joni, and the many wonderful stories you've told to me... she was a rare gem! Beauty and brains with such an immense kindness that engulfed all the lives she has touched. She certainly was a fighter, the way she took on this disease. And to you Dan, the love, attention and stewardship you gave to Joni always touched my heart so deeply, you too are one of a kind! A love that strong is so very rare these days but you both showed the world that love never ends. And, until the day you see your precious Joni again, know she is finally at peace.
