Jody L. Kosharsky

Jody L. Kosharsky, 65, of Houston, passed away peacefully, Wednesday, March 27, 2024, in her home. She was born April 20, 1958, in Washington, a daughter of the late Joseph R. and Bonnie Lee Bernard Marth. Jody attended Chartiers-Houston Schools and worked in the dietary department of the Greenery and the Canonsburg Hospital, from where she retired. Jody enjoyed gardening, crocheting, going to the family camp in Tidioute and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. On December 9, 1978, she married John A. Kosharsky who died December 4, 2023. Surviving are two daughters, Kelly Mounts (Tim) of Washington and Jennifer Lutz (Michael) of Houston; two sons, John Kosharsky of Houston and Alex Kosharsky (Victoria) of West Alexander; five grandchildren: Mike Jr., Gabriel, Jacob and Lucas Lutz and Jonathan Kosharsky; a brother, Terry Marth (Mary Anne) of Eighty Four; a sister, Tammy Kelley (Mike) of Washington; and many nieces and nephews. Deceased, in addition to her husband and parents, is a brother, Joseph R. Marth Jr. Friends will be received from 1 to 3 and 6 to 8 p.m., on Friday, March 29, in the McIlvaine-Speakman Funeral Home Ltd., Robert K.
