John Hustava Obituary

John Hustava, Jr., 77, of Coal Center, passed away the morning of Monday, January 24, 2022, at Premier Washington Health Center.

He was born May 26, 1944, in Charleroi, a son of the late John Hustava, Sr. and Marion McGavitt Bitonti Hustava.

A graduate of California High School, Mr. Hustava worked for Golden Eagle Construction Company.

He enjoyed fishing and fixing and tinkering with lawn tractors.

His wife, Joanne Smalley Hustava, passed away in 2011.

Surviving are his children, Sherri Turner (Monte) of Marianna, and James B. Hustey, Jr. (Danielle) of Bentleyville; grandchildren, Jonathon Tindall, Andrew Smalley, and Jaidyn, River, Joanna and Reed Hustey; three great-grandchildren; sisters, Betty Jane Detrick of Centerville Borough, and Sandra Hustava of Coal Center; his dog, Dutchess; and several nieces and nephews.

Deceased is a son, Steven Smalley.

Friends are welcome from 1 to 3 p.m. Wednesday, at the Thompson-Marodi Funeral Home, Inc., 809 Main Street, Bentleyville, 724-239-2255.

Services and burial will be private.
