My deepest, heartfelt condolences to my brother-in-law, Phil, and my nephews and nieces, Phillip, Mandy, Chris and Cassie. My sister-in-law, Kathy, and I met as teenagers about 50 years ago when she began dating Phil. I immediately adored her! She was a remarkable young woman with a heart of gold! Her kindness and compassion for all was extraordinary. I have to admit that I was more than a little sad (and even a bit jealous) when they married and Phil whisked her away to a life in Maryland! The distance limited our chances to spend time together, but she lived a happy and fulfilled life there. She was devoted to her family and loved her role as wife, mother and grandmother. Over the years when we would get together were such joyous times for me. I delighted in every moment we spent talking and laughing for hours on end. As I write this, it is with tears in my eyes that she has left us. All my love to her family whom I know have many cherished memories of her. We can hold onto those as we keep them and her in our hearts forever.

Growing up Kathy was one of my sister Candy's dearest friends. She was an amazing person. God bless her. I'm sure Candy will be glad to greet her friend in the heavens. God bless all of you!
