Kimberly Wagers Obituary

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Kimberly Ann Wagers, 62, announce her unexpected passing Monday, August 25, 2025. She was born December 17, 1962, to James L. Mangin Sr. and Marjorie Dale Mangin. Kim lived a life full of love, laughter and dedication. She married the love of her life, Robert Wagers, May 12, 1984, beginning a lifelong partnership built on deep affection and unwavering support. Over the course of more than 40 years, Kim worked in the environmental services industry, where she was known for her strong work ethic, kindness and commitment to excellence. Her retirement marked the beginning of a new chapter filled with her favorite pastimes - cheering on Pittsburgh sports teams (especially the Penguins), sewing, crafting and decorating her warm and welcoming home. More than anything, Kim cherished time spent with those she loved. Whether laughing with friends or creating lasting memories with her four granddaughters, her joy was contagious and her love, immeasurable. She is survived by her devoted parents; husband; son, Nathaniel (Lisa) Wagers; daughter, Ashley (Nick) Carson; and four adored granddaughters: Avery and Ella Carson; and Vaela and Freya Wagers. She is also survived by her brother, James L. (Phyllis) Mangin, Jr.; and many nieces and nephews. Kim leaves behind a legacy of warmth, generosity and love that will be deeply missed by all who knew her. A celebration of life will be planned for a later date to honor and remember Kim's beautiful life. In lieu of flowers, the family encourages you to spend time with loved ones - just as she would have wanted.
