His name is engraved on the Pennsylvania Memorial at Gettysburg. On November 9, 1947, she married Bentleyville resident and Patrolman Victor Alsko, who passed away August 20, 1960. Mrs. Alsko was our 5th grade teacher at the Lower End Elementary School. We both grew up to become educators and I´d like to think she had a part in shaping our futures. May God bless all who will cherish her memory.

So sorry to hear about Mrs. Alsko. I had her as a teacher in elementary school. Her parents were friends with my grandfather, Charles Wright. She never missed coming to any of my families funeral viewings, when they passed. May God give her nieces and nephews peace at this time.
