Linda Mattola Obituary

Linda Ann Colizoli Mattola, 76, of North Strabane, formerly of Bethel Park, was called to be with her Lord and peacefully passed away Sunday, January 8, 2017, surrounded by her loving family.
She was the beloved wife of her one and only true love, Guy Mattola, for more than 56 years; loving mother of Laurie (Jay) Wold, Lisa (Chris) Wilson and Guy (Petrina) Mattola; most loving grandmother of Zackery, Matthew, Michael, Emily, Jesse, Samuel and Daniel; loving sister of Joseph (Jill) Colizoli; daughter of the late Joseph and Olympia; niece of Anthony Pantanella; and sister-in-law of Ann Fabus and Theresa Buzzelli. Many nieces and nephews also survive.
She enjoyed cooking, decorating, reading, shopping, gardening and flowers.
Mrs. Mattola was a dedicated and active member in St. Joan of Arc Parish.
Always elegant and beautiful until her death, she loved spending time with her love, Mr. Mattola, and her grandchildren. Out of all she loved, it was her immense love for her family that most defined her life.

Guy and family, what a wonderful, beautiful lady. I'm so glad I became friends with Linda and you back at ABM. We had so many good times (my partner in crime lol) at all the Christmas parties and all the craft shows we went too. She always made me laugh. She was a kind hearted person. I just loved her. I will treasure all those memories forever. She will be deeply missed. My deepest sympathy.

Love You, Donna Sporter Lewandowski

I send my sympathy for your loss. I went to grade school with Linda (many years ago) at St. Anne's in Castle Shannon. I Ran into her several times over the years at the St. Joan of Arc fish fries and always enjoyed talking to her. So sad to lose such a wonderful person.
