Madeline Moore Kosky, 90, of South Fayette Township, passed peacefully Monday, December 4, 2023. Madeline Moore Kosky, 90, of South Fayette Township, passed peacefully Monday, December 4, 2023. She was the beloved wife for 69 years of the late John L. Kosky Jr.; loving mother of Marsha (the late Andrew) Schwab, John Alan (Stacy) Kosky, and Lynn (John) Janocha; devoted grandmother of Matthew, Anthony and Brandon Schwab, Emily Janocha, Maggie Kosky, Mary (Roy) Rothenberger, and John Michael (Mataya) Kosky; great-grandmother of Leo Rothenberger; daughter of the late Leo Moore and Frances Moore Teyssier; stepdaughter of the late Joseph Teyssier; sister of the late Elizabeth Folcik, and the late Helen (Richard) Chappel; also survived by many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Kosky was an active member of the former St. Anthony's Church, where she was dedicated to the Altar Society. She was lovingly referred to as "Queen Bee" by her family. She shared her love, wisdom, strength and devotion throughout her life with her loved ones. Her family would like to thank Gallagher Hospice for its loving care. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, December 6, in the Warchol Funeral Home, Inc., 3060 Washington Pike, Bridgeville (phone: 412-221-3333). A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9 a.m. Thursday, December 7, in St. Mary Church of Corpus Christi Parish.
