Madeline C. Thielet

Madeline C. Thielet, 79, of Washington, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, Tuesday, October 28, 2025. Born October 18, 1946, in Washington, she was a daughter of the late Lawrence and Vilma Refosco. She was the loving mother to Michelle Jarecki and Larry Thielet; beloved grandmother to Zachery Jarecki, Zane Jarecki, Travis Thielet, and Sydney Thielet; great- grandmother to Violet Jarecki; sister to Lawrence (Linda) Refosco, Lizbeth Refosco, Christine Refosco, Deborah McNary, and GayLynn (Greg) Matyuf; also survived by many nieces, nephews, great- nieces, great-nephews, and extended family members. She also leaves behind her dear friends, Judy Hunter and Renae Gress, and George and Meg. She was preceded in death by her late husband, Adrian "Shine" Thielet. Madeline enjoyed spending time outdoors hunting and fishing, and loved bowling with friends. Magpie especially cherished her visits to her favorite cafe in Weirton, W.Va. At the family's request, services will be private. Arrangements were entrusted to Pittsburgh Cremation and Funeral Care.
