Margaret Litwinovich Obituary

Margaret Lucille Shaw Litwinovich, 92, of Waynesburg, died at 3:40 a.m. Saturday, June 10, 2017, in Washington Hospital.
She was born Tuesday, July 22, 1924, in the family home in Morris Township, Greene County, a daughter of the late James Shaw and Edna Lough Shaw.
Mrs. Litwinovich was a member of First United Methodist Church of Waynesburg. She was a former member of Nineveh United Methodist Church, where she was a member of United Methodist Women and had served as Sunday school superintendent.
She was also a former Girl Scout leader and was a homemaker. She loved and cherished her dog, Mia.
On August 21, 1953, she married Michael Litwinovich Jr., who survives.
Also surviving are a son, Daniel (Sally) Litwinovich of Waynesburg; a daughter, Barbara (Brett) Phillips of Waynesburg; seven grandchildren, Scott Litwinovich, Ryan Litwinovich, Amy Milliken, Rebecca Mankey, Tyler Hughes, Laura Plotts and Masie Phillips; 13 great-grandchildren; a stepgrandson, Alex Phillips; a sister, Patricia Henrish of Crucible; and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased are a sister, Rena Maskil, and two brothers, James and Leroy Shaw.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in Milliken and Throckmorton Funeral Home Inc., Daryl L. Throckmorton, owner/director, 197 North Maiden Street, Waynesburg, PA 15370, where services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday, June 15, with the Rev. David Lake officiating. Burial will be in Greene County Memorial Park, Morgan Township.
