Marsha Crooks Obituary

Marsha "Boots" Smith Crooks, 68, of Washington, passed away peacefully Sunday, March 1, 2015, in her home.
She was born April 13, 1946, in Washington, a daughter of the late Rachel and Charles Smith Montgomery and Marshal Woods.
Mrs. Crooks was the beloved wife of 37 years to the late George O. Crooks; loving mother of Sean (Traci) Smith and Brande Crooks; adored grandmother of Sean, Taneesha (Princess), Jewel, Marcellus, Shaler and LaShae; great-grandmother of Tyra, Elijah and Kristiana-Michelle; and dear sister of Charles, Frances, Richard and the late Elizabeth.
She was a 1964 graduate of Washington High School.
Mrs. Crooks worked for more than 40 years at Superior Valve.
She enjoyed going on vacations and traveling. She looked forward to going to the casino. Most of all, she cherished cooking Sunday dinner and spending time with her family. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Mrs. Crooks and her husband will be laid to rest together in National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Cecil Township, on their wedding anniversary, August 31, 2015.

I will greatly miss Marsha as a classmate at Washington High
school and a co- worker at Superior Valve Company. So glad she
made it to our luncheon for retirees at Kings, even though she was
just released from the hospital.
