Mary Lou Cimino

Mary Lou Cimino, 86, of Washington, passed away peacefully Thursday, November 27, 2025, in the Washington Hospital, with her family by her side. She was born June 24, 1939, in Washington, a daughter of the late Joseph and Lucy Belcastro Bonus. Mrs. Cimino first attended Washington High School and later graduated from Trinity High School in 1957. She was a homemaker throughout her life and was Christian by faith. Mrs. Cimino enjoyed cooking, reading, interior decorating, and hosting her family for Sunday dinners. She loved going on her family vacations to New York City, Sanibel Island and Hilton Head Island. Mrs. Cimino also enjoyed attending her family reunions. She made the holidays very special for her family. Mrs. Cimino loved Frank Sinatra and saw him perform many times in person. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren, who were her whole world. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. On March 24, 1958 she married Samuel P. Cimino, who passed away August 30, 2020. Surviving are her daughters, Charisse "Sherry" (Fred) Badiali of Washington, Christy (Kent) Martin of Canonsburg, and Cindy (Michael) Namie of Washington; a brother, William (Rosemary) Bonus of Washington; six grandchildren, Freddie (Brandy) Badiali, Michael Namie, Morgan Namie, Clay Martin, Samantha Sonnet and Brett Martin; and a sister-in- law, Beatrice Bonus. Several nieces and nephews also survive. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Cathy Sonnet; and by two brothers, Frank "Boo Boo" Bonus and Joseph Bonus.
