Enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family
Mary A. Bennett Miller, 85, of Avella, passed away on Wednesday morning, January 2, 2019 in her home surrounded by family.
*She was born on August 3, 1933 in Penowa (Avella), PA, daughter of the late Robert John and Rosalie Vandal Bennett.
*Mary attended Avella schools and was Catholic by faith.
*She enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family and her dog Toby and cat Jake. She liked to watch her soap operas and loved to listen to Neil Diamond.
*Surviving are, her companion of 48 years, Eddie Wasik; two sons, Robert (Yvonne) Dupain of Washington, Gary (Edith) Dupain of Avella; a daughter, Lisa (Kevin) Lee of Washington; seven grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; a brother, Paul (Dorothy) Bennett of Burgettstown; and several nieces and nephews.
*Deceased in addition to her parents are, a brother, Joseph Bennett; two sisters, Rose Schaefer and Lucy Aloia. *Friends and family will be received from 2-4pm and 6-8pm on Friday, January 4, in the Jerome A. Stefkovich Funeral Home, Inc., 18 Campbell St. Avella, PA 15312, where a Blessing Service will be held at 10am on Saturday, January 5, with Rev. Harry Biele
Burial will be in West Point Cemetery, Avella.
