Michael Hricak, 91, of Hendersonville, N.C., formerly of Canonsburg, died Saturday, September 15, 2018.
He was born September 20, 1926, in Pittsburgh, a son of John and Anna Korba Hricak.
He proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy during World War II and the Korean War.
Prior to his retirement, he worked as a builder for Pennsylvania Transformer.
He was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 191, Canonsburg, and American Legion Post 902, Houston.
Mr. Hricak was the last of his immediate family. Deceased, in addition to his parents, are his wife, Barbara Hricak; stepson Gale A. Robinson; brothers Frank, John, George and Steve Hricak; and sisters Mary Cushanick and Anna Hutchinson.
Friends will be received from noon to 1:30 p.m. Friday, September 21, in Sollon Funeral and Cremation Services Ltd., 30 East College Street, Canonsburg, Phillip L. Sollon, supervisor, J. David Sollon, director, 724-746-1000. Interment will follow in Woodruff Memorial Park, North Strabane Township, with full military rites accorded by Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 191 Honor Guard.
