Michael P. "Hoss" Kelsall, 46, of Claysville, died unexpectedly Thursday, June 7, 2018, in Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, W.Va., while returning home from vacation.
He was born June 4, 1972, in Washington Hospital, a son of the late James V. Kelsall Jr. and Margaret J. Fonner Kelsall.
Hoss was a graduate of McGuffey High School and Western Area Career and Technology Center.
He was a longtime employee of AAdvantage Inc. in Houston, where he was most recently employed as a property manager.
Hoss was a longtime Pittsburgh sports enthusiast and enjoyed karaoke, card playing and motorcycle riding. He was a loving father and friend to all who knew him.
He is survived by a son, Michael W. "Mikey" Kelsall of Claysville; three brothers, Thomas (Susan), Donald (Donna) and Timothy; and two ex-wives, Debra Susan Rogers-Kelsall and Christina Lynn Bable.
He was in a loving relationship with his companion, Tanya Pierson, and cared deeply for her four children, Hannah, Mattison, Neveah, and Shayla.
Also surviving are three nieces, Megan Hammond, Hollie Sparks and Brittany Kelsall; a nephew, Donald "DJ" Kelsall; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
In addition to his parents, deceased are maternal grandparents Donald J. Fonner and Dorothy A. Roble of Claysville; paternal grandparents James V. Kelsall Sr. and Ada May Worrall, formerly of Media; infant daughter Madison Kelsall; and sister Lori Sparks.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in Young Funeral Home & Cremation Services Inc., 219 Main Street, Claysville, PA 15323, 724-663-7373, www.youngfhinc.com, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 13. Interment will be private.
