Michael Srbinovich Obituary
Michael D. Srbinovich Jr., 54, of Nicholson Township, Smithfield, passed away Sunday, October 15, 2023, after a brief illness. He was born June 5, 1969, in Morgantown, W.Va., a son of Michael David Srbinovich, Sr. and Rosemary Orban Srbinovich of Bobtown.
A 1987 graduate of Mapletown High School, Michael was a member of St. Ignatius Roman Catholic Church, and the Mount Morris Sportsman Club.
He was currently employed as a courier for Allied Health Solutions with the WVU Pharmacy. He was a gentle soul who was loved by all who knew him.
His mother-in-law, Sharon "Sherry" Tanner; and grandparents, Mike and Susan Srbinovich; and Tom and Geneva Orban; preceded him in death.
Surviving are his loving family: his wife, Melanie Tanner Srbinovich; two sons, Tanner Srbinovich and fiancee Elana Herceg, and Gavin Srbvinovich; two sisters, Kimberly Donley and Jessica Srbinovich; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, October 19, and from 9 to 10 a.m. Friday, October 20, in the Richard R. Herod Funeral Home, Point Marion. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:30 a.m. in the St. Ignatius Worship Site of St. Matthias Parish, Bobtown. Interment will be in the Evergreen Memorial Park, Point Marion.
