Miriam Mindek Obituary
Miriam L. Mindek, 98, of McDonald, passed Thursday, February 24, 2022.
She was born January 9, 1924, in McDonald, a daughter of Rolland and Lillian Mary Lewis Clayton.
On November 6, 1943, she married Nick Mindek, who passed in 1974.
Mrs. Mindek was a devoted member of the McDonald Bible Methodist Church for many years.
Surviving are two sons, Doug (Connie) Mindek of Maryland and Nick Mindek of McDonald; four grandchildren, Mark Mindek, Suzanne Fink, Dawn Diesem and Ben Mindek; a sister, Laura Faye Dupain of Houston; 13 great-grandchildren; and 11 great-great grandchildren.
Deceased are three sisters, Virginia Yurosky, Muriel Gale Joback and Lois Schmek; two brothers, Douglas and Tom Clayton; one grandson, Timothy Mindek.
Family will receive friends from noon to 1 p.m., the time of service, Tuesday, March 1, in the Nation Funeral Home Inc., 220 E. Lincoln Avenue, McDonald, PA 15057. Interment will follow in Robinson Run Cemetery.

My love, prayers and condolences to the Mindek family. Mrs. Mindek was a wonderful and very caring person. She blessed me with her wonderful son Ron, who's now deceased. Ron shared many sweet and wonderful memories about his mother. She was always there for him and his son, and made a difference in their lives as well as many others She always prayed for everyone and was such a strong women She was truly a child of God!

Mrs. Mindek was truly a Saint. I know not a day went by without her praying for me and so many others. She will be missed and we will be praying for the Mindek family.
