Patricia Lynn Welsh Dobscha, 70, of Washington, passed away Wednesday, February 19, 2025, following a lengthy illness. She was born December 23, 1954, in Washington, a daughter of the late Robert William and Norma Jean O'Brien Welsh, Sr. Mrs. Dobscha was a graduate of Washington High School and was a devout Christian. She was the owner / operator of Dobscha's Personal Care Home in the West End of Washington for many years. Mrs. Dobscha also worked as a waitress for several years at the Dog House Diner from where she retired. She enjoyed riding with her husband, Barry, on his Harley, 3-D bow shooting, playing bingo, and watching General Hospital and Days of our Lives on television. Mrs. Dobscha was also a member of the Jessop Dartball Team at one time and shot pool for Comfort's Lounge. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. Surviving is her husband of 44 years, Barry W. Dobscha, Sr., of Washington. Also surviving are a son, Barry W. (Jennie) Dobscha, Jr.; two daughters, Melissa Welsh Bird, and Michelle Welsh (Damon) Pabst; two sisters, Norma Jean Welsh and Elizabeth Randolph; along with nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Several nieces and nephews also survive. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Robert William Welsh, Jr.; and a sister, Debra Welsh. Friends will be received from 4 until 8 p.m. Friday, February 21, in the Warco-Falvo Funeral Home, Inc., Wilson at E. Katherine Avenues, Washington, S. Timothy Warco, owner / supervisor, S. Timothy Warco II, director, Holly Renay Warco, director. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, February 22, in the funeral home. Interment will be private.
