Patsy Gooden Obituary

Patsy Cole Gooden, 86, of Waynesburg, born on December 1, 1938, in Brave, passed away at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, November 25, 2025, at UPMC Greene. Patsy was the daughter of the late William O. Cole and Harriet Cumberledge Cole. She was a member of the Spraggs United Methodist Church. For many years, she volunteered with the local hospice in Waynesburg. She was an avid shopper, loved her dogs and enjoyed gardening and working with flowers. She was a homemaker. Her husband, Thomas L. Gooden, whom she married on November 22, 1958, died August 25, 2024. Surviving are two sons, Thomas R. "Randy" Gooden and wife, Elissa of Waynesburg and Gary Michael "Mike" Gooden and wife, Carol of Waynesburg; two sisters-in-law, Carole Cole of Dilliner and Mary Lou Edwards of Olney, Md.; as well as several nieces and nephews. Deceased, in addition to her parents and husband, are several sisters, brothers and cousins. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Monday, December 1, in the Milliken and Throckmorton Funeral Home, Inc., 197 N. Maiden St., Waynesburg, PA 15370 Shane M. Ayers, Managing Director, where her service will be held at 1 p.m. with Pastor Monica Calvert officiating. Burial will be in Claughton Cemetery, Whiteley Township.
