Ralph McAdams Obituary

Ralph W. McAdams, 68, of Washington, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, Sunday, May 25, 2025, following a lengthy illness. He was born January 8, 1957, a son of the late William and Peggy Post McAdams. Mr. McAdams was a 1975 graduate of Trinity High School. He was a retired iron worker with Local #3 by trade, but farming was his life. Mr. McAdams was a member of the National Rifle Association. He is survived by the love of his life, Trudy Jackson Berry, whom he married September 4, 1999; a daughter, Crystal (Brandon) Christian; a grandson, Hunter Christian; two stepchildren, Sharon (Vince) Knizner, and Matt (Chrissie) Berry; several grandchildren and great- grandchildren; three siblings; his caregivers, Ronnie Roupe Jr. and Cristy Berry; and his beloved dog, Lily, and grand puppy, Cooper. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a stepson, Steven Berry Jr. Family and friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, May 29, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, May 30.
