Raymond Keith Richmond, 87, of Washington, formerly of Majorsville, W.Va., passed away Wednesday, December 29, 2021, in the Grove of Washington.
He was born May 3, 1934, in Majorsville, W.Va., a son of the late Charles and Lola Richmond.
He was a lifetime member of Salem United Methodist Church. He was a member of Men Fellowship Club of West Virginia for many years. He enjoyed country roadside "chit chats" with friends, even strangers that sometimes became friends.
He was retired from the family business, Richmond's General Store, worked briefly for Columbia Gas and also worked construction.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Paul Richmond, Ralph Richmond; and sister, Lillian A. Caldwell.
He is survived by his cousin, Kathrine "Katie" (William) Carter of Canonsburg; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends will be received from 11 a.m. until the 1 p.m. time of service Monday, January 3, in Kepner Funeral Home, 166 Kruger Street, Wheeling, W.Va. (304-242-2311), with Pastor Jimmy Jarvis officiating. Interment in Mt. View Cemetery, Dallas, W.Va., will follow.
