Robert Duane Harris Sr., 82, of Washington, died Tuesday, February 13, 2018, in Washington Hospital.
He was born May 11, 1935, in Washington, a son of the late Leroy and Elizabeth Reed Harris.
Mr. Harris worked independently for 42 years, doing blacktopping and sealing, until his retirement.
His wife of 60 years, Shelvey Davis, whom he married August 3, 1957, survives.
Also surviving are six children, Barbara Gay, Kim Eberhardt, Penny Medrano, Deanna Barnes, Janice Harris and Robert Harris Jr.; brothers Jim and John Harris; 13 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
Deceased are three bothers and four sisters.
At the request of the deceased, there will be no public viewing.
Arrangements are under the care of William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington.
