Rontae James Preston

Rontae James Preston, affectionately known as "Booga," departed this life Monday, May 19, 2025, way too soon. Rontae was born May 4, 2013, in Washington. Rontae was a straight-A student and was loved by everyone he came in contact with, at both Monessen School District and RESS (Ringgold Elementary School South). Rontae loved playing video games and spending time with his family. Rontae was preceded in death by his sister, Ta'Niyah Thomas; cousin, Ronald Cox, Jr.; and uncle, Ronald Cox, Sr. Left to mourn his memory are his mother, Shantye Brown; father, Keilone Preston, Sr.; maternal grandparents, Saundra Cox-Brown and Sherman Brown; siblings: Kendall Preston, Gavin Preston, Eric Everett, Keilone Preston, Jr., and Ka'Miyah Preston; and a host of relatives and friends. Friends will be received from 10 to 12 p.m., the hour of the services, on Wednesday, May 28, in the First Baptist Church, 451 Allen Avenue, Donora, PA 15033, with Reverend Sawyer and Rodney Merritt officiating.
