Ruby Rosena Fox

Ruby Rosena Chedester Fox, 91, of Waynesburg, passed away peacefully with her daughter and son-in-law, Warren by her side at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, December 17, 2016.
Born July 21, 1925, in Claysville, she was a daughter of the late William and Ola Lindley Chedester.
She loved helping with the cattle on their farm when she was younger. She enjoyed gardening and canning. Her hobbies also included square dancing and collecting cookies jars.
Surviving are one daughter, Norma Jean (Warren) Wise of Waynesburg; two grandsons, Joey Dee Wise of Washington and Douglas Jay (Susan) Wise of Sycamore; one granddaughter, Jessica Lyn (Bill) Smith of Fairmont, W.Va.; four great-grandsons, Ryan Anthony (Holly) Wise, Sean Allen (Kendal) Wise and Cory Brandon Wise, all of New Concord, Ohio, and Lloyd H. Smith III of Point Marian; four great-great-grandsons, Jaxon and Shane Wise and Kristopher and Kaiden Wise; one great-great-granddaughter, Kinsley Wise and one "like a great-great-granddaughter," Kaleigh; two sisters, Betty Boyd and Jean Sapon; and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased, in addition to her parents, are her husband, Donald R. Fox, her daughter, Betty Louise Thomas and a son, Richard Duane Thomas.
Friends will be received from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., the time of service, Thursday, December 22, in Kesterson-Rush Funeral Home LLC., 3275 West Roy Furman Highway, Rogersville, PA, 15359, (724) 499-5181. Pastor Gary Gibson will officiate. Burial will follow at Cedar Grove Cemetery, Mt. Morris.
