Ruth Elizabeth "Bubba" Behling Boyan, 95, of Bishop, died Saturday, November 26, 2022, in her home.
She was born September 8, 1927, in Bishop, daughter of the late Otto and Dora Erbrecht Behling.
She was a member of Venice Presbyterian Church, Ladies Auxillary Cecil #3 Fire Company and Eastern Star.
Ruth was a very avid seamstress, making clothing and costumes for her children and granchildren.
Ruth and her husband, William, enjoyed gardening, canning and making homemade kielbasa. She also loved babysitting her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and sitting on her front porch.
Surviving is her daughter, Ruthie Garver of Bishop; son, William E. (Janet) Boyan of Canonsburg; and daughter, Lori Rastetter of Bishop; grandchildren, Dan (Bridgette) Garver of Hickory, Jodi (Chris) Zeszutek of Cecil, Greg (Alyssa) Boyan of Canonsburg, Lauren (Demian) Allik of Brampton, Ontario and Caitlyn Rastetter (fiance, John Cochran) of South Fayette; great-grandchildren, Nick, Danny, Owen, Gavin, Alexa (fiance Rhyder), Ryan and Brandon; and great-great-grandson, Kane.
She was preceded in death by her spouse, William Boyan; siblings, Louis Behling, Wilbert Behling, Otto Behling, Dorothy Murgel and Erwin Behling; grandchildren, Richie Garver and Marissa Boyan.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, November 30th, at the Coleman-Taylor Funeral Services, 3378 Millers Run Road, Cecil, PA 15321.
Additional visitation will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, December 1st, until time of service at 11 a.m. at Venice Presbyterian Church, 3694 Millers Run Road, McDonald.
Private interment will be in National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.
