Sandra "Sandy" Lee Crawford Martin, 61, of Washington, died Sunday, August 1, 2021, in UPMC Shadyside Hospital.
She was born May 17, 1960, in Washington, a daughter of Martha Lee Smith Crawford, of Washington, and the late Glover Crawford.
A 1978 graduate of Trinity High School, Sandy went on to earn her certification as a dental assistant from Mon Valley Career and Technical Center.
Sandy had worked as a dental assistant for various local dental offices.
She was a member of the First Lutheran Church.
A wonderful cook, who made everything from scratch, Mrs. Martin enjoyed vacationing to Erie, camping and riding motorcycles.
On August 31, 1991, she married Terry G. Martin, who survives.
Also surviving are a daughter, Jayme (Brian) Tuite of Washington; a brother, Raymond (Carol) Crawford of Claysville; four grandchildren, Ashleigh Tuite, Emily Tuite, Jordan Grace Crawford and Justin Crawford; and two nephews, Dylan Crawford and Andrew James Crawford.
Deceased are a daughter, Jessie Crawford; a brother, James Bright; and a stepdaughter, Christine Cunningham.
Friends will be received from 1 until 3 and 6 until 7 p.m., the time of service, Thursday, August 5, in the William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, PA 15301, with Rev. Dr. Kenneth Schott officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 320 Bilmar Drive, Pittsburgh, PA 15205.
