Sandra Lee Roach Zalaznik

Sandra Lee Roach Zalaznik, 61, of Bulger, Smith Township, passed away Thursday, March 14, 2024, with her family by her side, in Washington Hospital. Sandy was born June 2, 1962, in Washington, a daughter of the late Donald J. and Laura Lee White Roach. Mrs. Zalaznik was the most devoted homemaker all her life. There was nothing that she loved more than being a part of her family's life. Keeping active on their family farm was not hard for Sandy. She loved tending to her garden and lounging around with her dog, Maisey. Her family was what she lived for. There was no love stronger than Sandys, for her husband, daughter and son-in-law. They were her favorite people and kept her going. Often she and her loving husband, Ray, would take an adventure around town and go shopping for whatever Sandy could get her hands on. Sandy and her family loved going out to dinner together, it was their special time as a family. One thing that Sandy was so grateful for was her daughter and son-in-law living so close. Sandy and her daughter's daily visits are something that she cherished. Sandy was truly the most selfless and loving person you would ever meet. Although she had no problem telling you just what she thought, you knew that was because she loved you and only wanted the best for the people she loved. Recently Sandy was most looking forward to the birth of her first grandchild. It gave Sandy so much joy seeing her family growing. Her grandchild will certainly have the best guardian angel. Surviving are her loving husband of 35 years, Ray Zalaznik; daughter, Brittany (Cody) Scariot; siblings, Kelly Nencioni, Donald Roach Jr., and Rick (Debbie) Roach; and sister-in-law, Joyce Zalaznik. Friends and family will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, March 17, in Thomas-Little Funeral Service, Inc., 314 W. Lincoln Avenue, McDonald (724-926-2800), where a service will be held at 12 noon Monday, March 18.
