Skyler George

It is with profound sadness that the family of Skyler George, of Washington, announce her passing Tuesday, October 28, 2025, at the age of 35. She touched everyone she met and always found room in her heart to love somebody new. She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Noma J. George, Carmen Thompson and stepmother, Angela Thomas. She will be greatly missed by her daughter, Jazlyn Amyah; and son, Jionni Alexander. Her passing is mourned by her siblings, Jennifer Walls (Brian), Ashley Maple (David), and Noma M. George (Marquaila). She was loved and will truly be missed by many family members and friends. Her nieces and nephews will miss her dearly: Aphasiah, Kyjah, Mariah, Ivonna, Davion, Jalon, Arion, Kehlani, Nomilah, Noma, Naomi and Serayah. May she rest in peace with her late grandmother, Shirley George; and her son, J'Shaun Anthony Shadeck. The family will have a private ceremony to celebrate her home going. In lieu of flowers, her family asks that food donations be made, in her name, to LeMoyne Community Center, 200 N. Forrest Avenue, Washington, PA 15301. Drop-off hours for donations are 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Monday - Thursday.
