Stanley Bozovich

Stanley Bozovich, 91, of Lawrence, died Monday, January 5, 2026. He was born January 8, 1934, in Bentleyville, to the late Michael and Anna Shayniak Bozovich. Stanley graduated from Bentleyville High School in 1951. He met and married his high school sweetheart, Dolores Kibelbek Bozovich, who sadly passed away in 1984. He graduated with a B.S. in Math from Waynesburg College in 1956. He then served in the United States Marine Corps from 1956 to 1959, where he attained the rank of captain. Stanley then taught Mathematics and Spanish at Canonsburg High School for one year. He started his State Farm career in Bentleyville as an agent from 1960 to 1963. He was promoted to and was an agency manager in the Philadelphia area until 1972. He then became an agency director, which brought him back to Western PA. In September 1985, Stanley married his loving spouse, Connie Williams Bozovich. They spent many happy years retired in Sunset Beach, N.C. Connie sadly passed away October 28, 2019. In his free time, Stanley enjoyed golf. He was a member of B.P.O.E. #776 of Washington and the Sunbury Lodge 362 Free & Accepted Masons in Beallsville. Surviving are his daughters, Cindy (Paul) Brophy of Lawrence, Connie Bozovich of Cochranville, and Cathy (Joseph) Durko of Cokeburg; a stepson, Jeffery Williams; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Deceased are a son, Gary Bozovich; brothers, Michael, George and Joseph Bozovich; and a stepdaughter, Stacey Havelka Williams. Arrangements have been entrusted to Piatt and Barnhill Funeral Home, 420 Locust Avenue, Washington. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Waynesburg College general fund.
