On February 12, 1953, he married Sarah Mae "Sally" Boyce, who passed away June 18, 2010.
Left behind to cherish his memory are his son, the Reverend Jeffrey T. Fartro of Cleveland-Parma, Ohio, his wife, Lynn and three grandchildren, Leeland, James and Sarabeth Fartro; his sister, Lucy Cannon; and multiple nieces and nephews.
