March 9, 1946 - March 19, 2025 It is with heavy hearts yet joyful memories that we announce the passing of Wilmer Elmer "Bodie" Lambert, Jr., 79, who left this world on Wednesday, March 19, 2025, at home in Coal Center, Pennsylvania with his loving family by his side. He was born on March 9, 1946, in North Charleroi, PA, a son of the late Wilmer "Ducky" Lambert, Sr. and Velva Byrne Lambert. Bodie lived a full and vibrant life, spending many years as a dedicated coal miner, embracing the strength and resilience that defined his character. He worked at several places during his career, including McCormick Drilling Company, Consol Mining Company, and Guttman Oil/ Mon River Towing. He was a proud member of the Tri-County Lodge 252, F & A.M. of PA, the Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite Pittsburgh-Northern Masonic Jurisdiction, the California Young Men's Club and the Independent Club in Bentleyville, PA. Bodie was a loving husband to his beloved spouse, Anna Lambert, and a proud father to his three daughters, Sheri Lambert (Mike Hixenbaugh), Renee Cross (Rick), and Lisa Miller (Douglas), who cherish the countless memories they shared with him. He is also survived by his brother, Jerry Lambert, sister-in-law, Rose Lambert, and sister, Cheryl Cole, along with a legacy of grandchildren and great-grandchildren: Tim Krause, Jr, (Misty), Cody Lambert (Kayla), Taylor Vidrine (Addison), Jordan Miller, Chloe Miller, Leo Cross, Benjamin Krause, Hayden Krause, Tavlyn Hall, and Ezra Lambert. His family fondly remembers him for his warmth, wisdom, and unwavering support. The Lambert family invites all those who knew and loved Bodie to celebrate his life and legacy for visitation in the Mariscotti Funeral Home on Wednesday, March 26 from 2 to 8 p.m. and on Thursday March 27 from Noon to 2 p.m. when funeral services will held in the funeral home with Rev. Kevin Carpenter, officiating. Friends and family are encouraged to come together to share stories, laughter, and love, commemorating the joyful spirit of a man who touched many hearts. Although he is no longer with us, Bodie's spirit will forever resonate within the loving memories he has left behind. As we gather to celebrate his life, let us remember the strength, laughter, and joy that he brought into our lives. May he rest in peace, knowing the profound difference he made in the hearts of his family and friends. In addition to his parents Bodie was preceded in death by an infant son; his stepfather, Charlie Huffman and his sister, Marian Zbyl.
