Father Anthony was a priest who I remember with fond memories from Our Lady of Guadalupe in Topeka, Kansas. As my family learned of his death we fondly shared our memories of him while he was here. He was a good priest and our sympathies to his family and to all with whom he has touched in his life.

My heart is sadden at the loss of a dear family friend. I will always remember the story you told at my father's funeral about how he carried you up those stairs because of your health issues back in Montclair...you my dear friend carried all of us in time of need. We were so grateful to have had you in our lives. I am so sorry I found out of your death just today...I would have held your hand as you held mine many times. We all were truly blessed with Tony being a part of our lives. Much love to all his family.

When I first started Law Enforcement many years ago Father Palmese road with me ALOT. He was there for me many times in my car smoking a cigar and also in the middle of a good fight at "Simmons Plaza". He will be missed by all and always remembered by my family and me. I was blessed to have him in my life. T. P.

Unit 6 - George90, Signal 40 - Code 3 - Officer needs assistance...This is the language that Fr. Anthony understood. He was a true blessing to the men and women in uniform. God's warrior, caring for those in need. Our friendship and his assistance spanded over 21 years. He was always there to listen. He would always ask about your family by name. "Concern with Compassion" for those he served. I will miss you my friend. For now, I will be Code 7...."Out of the car to eat!"

Although we only had the chance to see Father Palmese a few times, we most recently spent three wonderful nights learning about the importance of Mary through his research...it was a beautiful time and brought us closer to God...thank you, Father, for your message, and your dedication to helping others learn more about our faith.

I met Father Palmese during events where he served as chaplain and I with the Ocala Fire Rescue Honor Guard. He immediately made you feel at peace around him, I enjoyed immensely my visits with him and will miss him very much. We need people like Father Anthony Palmese so much right now and I feel greatly blessed that I had a chance to know him. Father Anthony, thank you for the time you graciously shared your faith with me! I will never forget you. My condolences to the family, please know that he was well respected and loved by many and I am truly sorry for your ( and our) loss,

Our whole family will miss this wonderful man. We have known him from the first day he came to St. Judes Parish, my dearly departed father and step mother (Fred & Lorraine Viola) were the first couple Fr. Anthony married after being asigned To St. Jude's. He always had a big smile and a kind and loving word to everyone he came in contact with. Our prayers are with his family. God Bless.

Fr. Palmese was a force larger than life. His intensity, conviction and devotion to his faith while somewhat frightening to me, was also a comfort and nurturing to my own faith which is stronger because of him. I will miss his beautiful masses which always gave me a chill not unlike the most beautiful music and art.

Fr. Anthony was a true friend to us and we are sad to hear of his death. He was most giving and always willing to share. We shared many great times (and meals) together. We will truly miss him but know we will be reunited one day...and there will be many stories to tell!
