The note we found...

On September 14 last year, my friend and I were hiking at Bonticou Preserve. Right at the beautiful overlook at Table Rocks, we noticed a yellow bumblebee balloon caught in a tree. My friend pulled down the note and read "A celebration of life! Soar High! We love you!" The other side talked about Caleb being a little knight in shining armor, and our hearts went out to his mother and family. I was just looking at the pictures from that day and thought I should see if I could find the family to let you know that the balloon found one of the most gorgeous overlooks in the Hudson Valley. I didn't know Caleb or his family, but that seemed like a special place for the balloon to come to rest, and thought you might like to know it. My best wishes to you all.

Jeanette and Steve,
I am so sorry to hear the sad news about Caleb. My heart goes out to you for your precious loss. What a blessing to have shared life together with Caleb. Many must have been the lessons of love he taught. I too, know the unbearable pain of losing a son. It is one of the most devastating experience's a parent can face. The emotions can be so overwhelming! But, remembering all the wonderful moments you shared can help to comfort you thru the difficult times. And most of all, may the God of Love, who never cause what is bad to happen, sustain you with his promise of HOPE for the future. When HE will soon end all suffering on the earth and no one will say, 'I am sick.' How do we know this is not just wishful thinking? Because what HE says always comes to BE!
HOPE; "HE will wipe out every tear from their eyes and DEATH will be NO more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away. And the ONE seated on the throne said; "Look! I am making all things NEW.....these words are faithful and TRUE."

We have heard about Caleb for the longest time. We have prayed and God answered our prayers. We prayed that if it was God's will, Caleb would be taken after blessing all of us with his presence. I am sorry for your loss but I am happy that God has another beautiful angel in His Grand Choir of Angels. May God make this time of grieving come with understanding that we will again meet in the arms of Jesus where we belong. God Bless you now and forever!
