Corinne Catlett Obituary
Dunnellon - Corinne L. Catlett, 32, beloved daughter, teacher, and dear friend, Corinne Catlett, age 32, died in her sleep on August 21, 2009. She is survived by her mother Teresa Mandat, stepfather Bill Mandat, father Ben Catlett andseveral Aunts, Uncles, nieces, and nephews in Florida, Ohio and Texas. In Lieu of flowers donations can be sent to the Epilepsy Foundation of America in her name. After cremation to honor her services will be held on August 29, at 11:00 a.m. at Ocala West United Methodist Church 9330 SW 105th Street, Ocala, FL 34481.

Terry and Bill,
I was so sad to hear of your loss. Corinne was such a sweet and fun-loving person. Our friendship began on swimteam and at St. Mary's, but really grew through our highschool and college years. I am very sorry we had grown apart in the last 4 or 5 years. But I know I am blessed to have had her in my life- we all were. May sweet memories and prayers help you through the days ahead. Please know that I am truely sorry.

Terry,I am so very sorry for your loss. Corinne was such a sweet, caring teacher and good friend. I miss her greeting every morning at Romeo and our little jokes about our days at school. It was a pleasure to teach with her and share her stories about our students that we shared. No one cared more about her students than Corinne and they will miss her deeply.

I was Corinne's stepsister Jennifer many years ago, i have so many memories of her we would stay up late laughing at absolutly nothing but at the time it was the funniest, and i will always remember when she came to stay with her dad she would always have her own pillow she never came without it. I remember going to Disney world with her, Teresa & Bill we had such a good time. I could go on and on of my memories with her but there is not enough pages in this book, i loved her she was the only sister i felt i had for a long time, we lost touch after so many years but i often thought of her and looked at some old pictures of us together when we were very young. I just want to let Teresa & Bill know that my thoughts and prayers are with you. And Benny i love you with all my heart please let me know if there is anything i can do for you.

Miss Catlett was the teacher that first saw and recognized that my daughter Lisa had a learning disibility and got her the help that she needed. Education has lost a valuable member, she will be missed by her students and parents alike. May God welcome her with open arms, and comfort for her family and friends.

Corinne will always be in my heart - I will always miss her.I will plant a peach tree in her memory in the Spring. One of our favorite times together was with the five of us eating fresh peach cobler by the pool. I will pray that you find peace.

Corinne used to come visit her Dad & we would spend that time running around & goofing off together. We had so much fun. She was a very fun & caring person & I'm sorry to hear of her passing.

Corinne was one of my first friends when I moved back to Marietta in 5th grade. While we drifted apart in high school, I still have fond memories of time spent with her and am deeply saddened to hear of her passing. She was a kind person and will be truly missed.

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.

That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."
It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.

If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,

And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.
So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
