As the general manager of Mockingbird Farm in the early years, your mother and father were like my own. They were truly family to my mother Lucille and my step-father Ben and my son Jimbo. They were very special and I am sure they are in a better place and together again. May they rest in peace. My condolences to the entire family.
Sincerely,
Ken Powers

Terry, I am so very sorry for your loss. I remember having lunch with her and Wendy many years ago when we first arrived in Ft. Lauderdale. She was beautiful, radiant, and charming. It was so thoughtful of her to meet us even though she was very busy. I am sure that she is in heaven after so much suffering. According to Corinthians 4:17, "for this light momentary affliction is preparing for us an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison." May she rest in peace and may God help you through this difficult time.

Dearest Tracy,
The memories I have of your mom are so special. Growing up with you, she opened up her home to me. So many overnights, dinners in and out, even the Mai Kai! Afternoons spent at the Coral Ridge Country Club swimming and having lunch. She was always interested in what we had to say, she was so different than my own mom, because she had the time and energy to devote to us. She made me feel like one of the family. I was in awe of her, she was so beautiful and glamorous, and she was your mom! I remember her driving us everywhere. She kept such a perfect, tidy and comfortable home, whereas mine was always so chaotic! I loved just being around her, and you! Thank you for being such a huge part of my life, and for sharing your unique, kind, loving and glamorous mom with me. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. May she rest in peace.

Dear Terry and family, I feel very lucky to have known your mother. She was a role model for all women. She was smart, beautiful always interested in what you had to say and independent. Your Mother and Father are together again. Two very bright shining stars. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

On behalf of my parents, Joseph(who recently passed away) and Arlene Forte, I want to send my heartfelt condolences on the passing of Dottie (and Harry). My mother worked at Mangurians for years in Rochester, and my father did all of its printing. We grew up 3 doors from the store on Edmonds St. Dottie and Harry were incredibly kind to my parents, both in Rochester, and in Fort Lauderdale, where my parents moved to in 1971.
The Forte family cannot thank them enough for their kindness and support over 50 years of knowing each other.
Harry and Dottie were truly special people.
