QUESNEL, EDWARD ROY, 73



Silver Springs - Edward Roy Quesnel, 73 of Silver Springs Florida was taken to rest on March 31, 2008 at Estelle's Hospice House. He was born on March 23, 1935 in Orwell Vermont. Loving husband and friend of Marjorie Quesnel and the son of the late Xavior and Elsie Quesnel. Ed moved to Connecticut in the early 70's and operated Quesnel auto body shop. He than moved to Florida in 1962 where he purchased Sharpes Ferry Retirement Community with his dear friend Tux Tuxberry. After retirement in 1997 he enjoyed fishing, sailing, travel and playing with his many toys, sharing it all with his loving kitten. Ed was a member of Uriel Masonic lodge #20 in Mansfield Conn. for 40 years, Morning Star # 94 in Silver Springs, American Legion Post 0400, Harris Lake Sail Club, and BMW Motor Club. Besides his loving wife Marjorie Quesnel he is survived by his loving children Glen Quesnel of Connecticut, Eddy (Dawn) Quesnel of Florida, Tina Rainville and her fiance Pat Johnson of Vermont. Loving grandchildren Ben & Alex Frederich of Vermont, Eddy & Nicole Quesnel of Florida, Katy Quesnel of Connecticut. Brother Robert (Marjorie) Quesnel, 2 sisters Betty Gagnon and Her Fiance Frank Bruce, Marje Redding (Jim). Many wonderful nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends. Predeceased by his brother Gerry Quesnel. A memorial service will be held on Sunday April 6, 2008 at 4:00 P.M. at St. Mark's Methodist Church 1839 NE 8th Rd, Ocala, Florida. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to Hospice.

Hey Grampa,
You will be missed dearly Grampa! I wish that we could have gone sailing and fishing again, but the man upstairs wanted you for his own fish fry and sailing buddy. I wish I had more time to spend with you. I feel like our time together was cut short and wish I could have went back out on Mill Dam again but, it was your time . Good bye and I love you forever.
