Evelyn Menezes Obituary
Ocala - Mrs. Evelyn S. Menezes, 83, died at her residence December 7, 2009. She was born in Somerset, MA and moved to this area in 1989. She was a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church. She worked as a solderer for the United States government. Mrs. Menezes was a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary, post #284, Belleview and past coordinator of AARP. She enjoyed crocheting and made hats for soldiers in Iraq. She is survived by her husband, Joseph Menezes, Ocala and brother, Antone Souza, Somerset, MA. Funeral Mass will be held at 10 AM, Friday, December 11, 2009 at St. Theresa Catholic Church, 11528 SE Hwy 301, Belleview. Visitation will be from 2 - 4 PM and 6 - 8 PM at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, 5946 SE Robinson Road, Belleview. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to National Osteoporosis Foundation, 1150 17th Street, NW, Suite 850 Washington, DC 20036.
