Frances Larochelle Obituary
FRANCES 'FRAN' MARY
Ocala - Frances 'Fran' Mary Larochelle went home to be with the Lord on July 27, 2017. Fran was born in Middletown, New York to Stanley and Ina Lewis on September 15, 1935 and spent the last 44 years making Ocala her home. Fran worked at the Marion County Tax Collectors Office in 1998 where she worked until her retirement at the age of 63.
Fran has traveled extensively throughout the United States, Canada and Mexico with her husband Emile and her cats. While at home she enjoyed growing flowers and herbs, constructing buildings and painting, dancing, reading, but most of all spending time with her family and friends.
Fran is recently preceded in death by her son, Richard Roorda who passed away last month.
She is survived by her husband, Emile; her children, John (Cindy) Roorda, Stephen Roorda, Karen (Tony) Ortiz, and James Boyce; three grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held at Christ's Church of Marion County on Sunday, August 6, 2017 at 3pm. In lieu of flowers, please make donations in her name to North Shore Animal League or any animal shelter. Arrangements by Baldwin Brothers Funerals & Cremations, Ocala 236-5884.

We will always remember having such delightful visits with Fran at the Ortiz home. She was so animated about her travels and showed such an adventurous spirit. What a lovely lady, and we are so glad to have known her. Our most sincere condolences to her family and all who loved her.

I worked with Fran for many years at the tag office. She was a great, funny lady who could do anything!!! She had the best giggle. Rest In Peace Frannie
